Research Associate – Molecular Biology

Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Expression analysis and binding assessment of protein drug candidates
  • Conduct basic molecular biology work such as gene cloning for protein expression (PCR, restriction enzyme digestion, ligation, E. coli transformation, plasmid mini prep)
  • Verify protein expression via transfection into cell lines and Western blot analysis
  • Measure binding affinity of expressed proteins to target molecules (e.g., ELISA)
  • In vitro, cell-based functional assays for protein drug candidates
  • Perform cell-based assays to evaluate the in vitro activity of expressed proteins against target proteins

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (entry-level applicants are welcomed)
  • Degree in biology or a related field, or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Hands-on experience with molecular biology experiments
  • Proficiency in gene cloning techniques

Preferred qualifications

  • Background in molecular biology or relevant lab experience
  • Experience in therapeutic protein development
